Iliff Library Catalog and Account Guide

Tips and Tricks for using the Library Catalog

Start Your Search

Start your search by typing the title, author, subject or keywords into the search bar on the main library page. The search bar will remain at the top of the page after you search and see your results.

Do You have Access to the Item?

We share a catalog with the University of Denver, so it's important to know what we have access to as Iliffians. Search results will show where an item is located and how it can be accessed (physical location or online accessible).

Electronic items will have icons showing who has access to an item. Make sure to click on the item title to view these icons. Items can have more than one icon, but the one to look for is the Iliff logo. If an item has the Iliff logo, we should have access.

This item has the Iliff icon which shows we have access to the material.

This item does not have an Iliff icon, therefore we do not have access to the material.

Physical items will not have these icons, but will list the location of the item. Iliff owned items will have "Iliff" and then the specific location on them. Items with a "Main", "Law", or "Hampden" locations are not part of the Iliff collection.

By clicking the arrow on the right, you'll be able to see if the item is available for check out. If you are logged in to your library account, you'll be able to place a hold on the title.
